Union County Search & Rescue
Union County’s exceptional outdoor recreational resources attract visitors from around the world. Hunting, fishing, hiking, rafting enjoy a plethora of settings in Union County. With these adventures comes the occasional mishap. Union County is served by an experienced search and rescue team. Union County Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer organization that supports the Sheriff’s Office. Their main mission is search and rescue operations. Their secondary mission is public education on the hazards of outdoor recreation, proper preparation and what to do when lost.
